Ideal for vertical turbine installations and pump rooms
Heat exchanger-cooled engines operate on a water-assisted closed loop. Pump discharge water passes through the heat exchanger’s internal tubes, absorbing heat from the circulating coolant. This cooled engine coolant then returns to the engine block. The pump water used for heat transfer is either drained or recirculated, making this an efficient and environmentally considerate option when clean or seawater is available.
